Welcome to 2022!
Over the last few weeks, some of you might have done a bit of review of the year 2021, maybe even some soul-searching on what to do differently in a new year full of uncertainty and change. You might even have come up with an action plan to get closer to your vision and or purpose. Some of you are crystal-clear of what success will look like for them and their team in 2022 – some won’t.
Whatever step you’ve got to…you are on the right path for now!
Remember, everything has its own timing and speed of growth.
Trees grow slower than wildflowers. However, trees last longer. Wildflowers are shorter lived and often more colourful. Both have a reason for being here on this planet. One isn’t better than the other. It always depends on your perspective and mindset within specific circumstances.
This is important to remember once you come to your next crossroads sign.
When is the right time to change paths, shift gears, let go of old ideas and plans, and jump into a new adventure? Before you create a new beginning, it is crucial to clear the energy field with a conscious ending process.
2022 hast started off with even more uncertainty in our environments and systems. The need for change, resilience and adaptability is increasing. Decision making is often not easy as rules are constantly changing.
Here’s some help. Before you let go of your current path and plans, ask yourself the following 7 questions:
Do you believe that your destination (goal) is still the right one for you?
Is it worth giving it your all to get to this destination?
So far, have you done all the necessary work?
What progress have you noticed?
Is there any additional professional support that could help you now?
If a higher power would allow you to give up – would you do it?
What are your plans B, C, D?
Take some time to honestly answer each question. And then take a decision on whether you keep going on the current path or select a new one.
A crossroad can be an exciting adventure, creating a positive buzz or it can drag you into a stuck position.
Be aware of what’s going on for you and your team at that point in time.
Sometimes, visualising the journey on the two different paths can be helpful. Often, you don’t have enough data to visualise completely where you might be going. You might need to trust the guidance of others, patch together whatever information you might be able to access and ultimately, listen to your intuition and gut feeling.
What excites you more right now? Trees or Wildflowers?
Naturally yours,
Ingrid
